Obituary of Harvey Milton Dukeshire

Harvey Milton Dukeshire, 76 of Clementsvale, passed away September 13, 2019 in Annapolis Community Health Centre.  Born in Clementsvale, he was the son of the late Wilfred and Verdon (Wamboldt) Dukeshire.

Harvey worked in Forestry most of his life, in Nova Scotia and in British Columbia.  He was very handy at making almost anything he wanted.  He loved working on the home and in the yard, creating flower gardens. Harvey owned horses and liked going to horse-pulls at the exhibitions.

He will be greatly missed by everyone, including his dog, Hooter.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Betty Lou (Taylor); sons Paul and Dwayne (Shauna) of Clementsvale, John of Princedale; daughter Tina (Mike) Tkachanko of FT St. John, BC; brothers Carroll and LeRoy; sisters Betty, Marlene, Kathleen, Gloria and Dianne; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Besides his parents, Harvey was predeceased by his brother Gerald.

A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, October 3, 2019 at 2:00 pm in the Clementsvale Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Digby County Funeral Chapel, 367 Highway #303, Digby, B0V 1A0 (902-245-2444).
