Hugh Gordon Aker, 81 of Centreville, passed away May 15, 2019 in his home. Hugh was born in Kentville N.S.
Hugh lived at Tupper Lake for 20 years and while there he enjoyed fishing and gardening. Hugh also loved watching Blue Jay’s baseball.
His is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Millie; daughter Heather (Jim) Miller; son Tim and 2 grandsons, Alex and Dawson.
By Hugh’s request, there will be no visitation. A Graveside Service will be held for family and friends on May 25th at 2pm at Elm Grove Cemetary, with Rev. Dr. Steve Hopper officiating. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr., Coldbrook, NS, B4P 1B9 (902-679-2822).
