Obituary of Pearl Loretta Corkum

Pearl Loretta Corkum, 90 of Bridgewater  died peacefully March 9, 2019 in North Queens Nursing Home, Caledonia.

Daughter of the late Charles and Caroline (Feltmate) Walls, she was a homemaker and over her life, worked at the Tastee Freez, Discount Shoeland and IGA Foodliner. She was a member of the Bridgewater Baptist Church, and their Ladies Auxiliary. She was a wonderful cook and avid gardener.

She is survived by sons Byron (Sandy), Barry (Wendy), Hal (Kathy), grandchildren Jeffery (Michelle), Patrick (Kelsi), Lindsay (Mike), Cody (Tiffani Dawn), Tiffany (Ryan), great grandchildren, Dylan, Maddox, Stokli, Spencer, Cohen, Quinn, Athen, Nevaeh, nieces and nephews and good friend Helen Sarty.

She was predeceased by her parents, husband Gardner, brother Murray, sisters, Kay and Etta.

Private family service at a later date in Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater. Memorial donations may be made to the Charity of One’s Choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr., Coldbrook, NS, B4P 1B9 (902-679-2822).
