Obituary of John William Redden

John William Redden, 83 of Meadowvale  passed away February 15, 2019 in Soldier’s Memorial Hospital, Middleton.  He was born May 5, 1935 in Somerset, Kings County, and he was the son of the late Clarence and Idella (Saltzman) Redden; both deceased.

His is survived by wife Faye (Wamboldt) Redden; step-daughters Maureen and Denise; son Clay (Julie) and their children Ashley and Tyler of Calgary, AB; daughters Sherry Bland and her children Melissa and Amanda of Halifax; Twyla White and her child Kelsi of Truro; sister Ruth Leopold of Windsor; and many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, John was predeceased by former wife and mother of his children, Doreen (Gaul) Redden; second wife Sylvia "Marie" (Wilson) Redden.

A private family service will take place at a later date.  Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Berwick Funeral Chapel, 192 Commercial Street, Berwick, NS, B0P 1E0 (902-538-9900).
