Heather Marie White (Benedict)

It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Heather on February 4, 2019 in South Shore Regional Hospital, with her husband, daughter and family by her side. Born January 9, 1959 in Windsor, Heather was a daughter of Garfield "Ted" Benedict and Lucy (Cox, Benedict) McKeigan.

Heather especially enjoyed spending time with her daughter Sue and grandsons who were an important part of her life. As one of Jehovah's Witnesses, engaging in the public ministry was important to her.

She is survived by her loving husband, Lewis; daughter, Sue (Jeff) Spencer; grandsons, Brentyn, Lucas and Isaiah; stepson, Aaron; siblings, Bernard (Jane) Benedict, Colleen (Ron) Haight, Susan (Gary) Vidito; nephew, Joe (Jenny) Keddy and many other nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by sisters, Linda Keddy and Marion (in infancy).

There will be a memorial service in The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 210 Parkland Dr., Halifax on Saturday, February 9th at 2 p.m. Burial will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr., Coldbrook, NS, B4P 1B9 (902-679-2822).
