Obituary of Inez Nadine Alberta Cox
Inez Alberta Nadine Cox (Ormiston), age 85, passed away peacefully on January 15, 2019, to continue her love story with her husband Ray.
She was a city girl, born and raised in Halifax, who bravely moved to the country with Ray. She came to love the country life and would make camping and travelling lifelong traditions. Inez had many friends through her work at RBC and her involvement in the Lionettes and the "United Church Women" of Windsor Junction. Her greatest fulfillment grew out of her devotion to her husband, children and grandchildren. She loved her family beyond words and looked forward to the many large family gatherings that were full of singing, dancing and food. Inez and Raymond demonstrated unforgettable love and kindness that has been passed down as a strong family value. Many sunny days were spent laughing and smiling on their front porch, especially with those grandchildren who had the privilege of living close by.
Inez is survived by four children; 16 grandchildren and eight great- grandchildren: Richard Cox - Heather, Courtney and Caitlin; Nadine Leclerc (Eric) - Christopher, Scott, Richard; David Cox (Virginia) - Ryan, Jessica, Cadence, Lacey and Madeline; Kathy Perrin (Phil) - Joshua, Cameron, Jennifer and Colby. Her great-grandchildren, Maddison, Myles, Nina, Mac, Julien, Rowan, Lily and baby to be.
She was predeceased by her parents, Cecil and Margaret; siblings, Don and Marnie; and grandchild, Jordan.
We would like to thank the staff of Maplestone Enhanced Care for their kind, loving and attentive care.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the FRSPA, located at 454 Windsor Junction Rd. on Sunday, January 20th at 1 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzhiemer Society of Nova Scotia (www.alzhiemer.ca).
