Obituary of Bryan Cameron Ashe

Bryan Cameron Ashe, 75 of Digby, passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2017 in his home with his loved ones. Born October 6, 1941 in Halifax, he was the husband of Yvonne Mary (nee Hazelton) and father of Donald Cameron Ashe, step-father of Judy Stoddard of New Germany, Tracy Jones of Seabright, and Brian Stoddard of Calgary, AB.

Bryan was affiliated with the Cornwallis Naval Base from January 1959 to October 2000.  He was at sea serving for 11 years with RCN.  After his sea duty, he served with the Department of National Defence until the base closure. He then went on to be the chef at the Pearson Peace Keeping Centre for six years, until he was forced to retire due to medical reasons.

Bryan was predeceased by his parents Donald Thomas and Joan Sybil (Rodgers) Ashe, sisters Virginia Sexsmith and Barbara Pelletier, brother Norman Ashe.
