Obituary of Lloyd William Eldridge

Lloyd William Eldridge, 65 of Falmouth. It is with heavy and broken hearts we, the Caldwell and Eldridge families, announce Lloyd's passing at home with his common-law wife, Annette by his side, after a courageous battle with lung cancer. Lloyd was a loving and caring man who went out of his way to help family and friends, all with expecting nothing in return. He relished in the sports of hunting and fishing with friends over the years. But absolutely enjoyed a good party around the fire pit and especially hosting birthday parties for his and Annette's family members. He is survived by his loving common-law wife Annette (Caldwell) Patterson; step-son Mitchell (Catherine) Patterson; step-grandson William Patterson; mother-in-law Kaye Caldwell; sisters and brother-in-laws Cathy, Terry, Mike (Karen), Brian (Laura), Carol-Anne (Ricky), Sheldon (Chris), Kevin; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Lloyd was predeceased by his father George; mother Gladys (Peach); sisters Glenna Pettigrew; Ellen Dill; father-in-law Joseph Caldwell. There will be no service as per Lloyd's request. A gathering of family and friends has been planned for June 24, 2018 at Dean Chapter Lake, Mines Road, Falmouth. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr. (902-679-2822).
