Obituary of Arlene Edith Anna Forster
Please share a memory of Arlene to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Arlene E. Forster, 70 of Port Williams passed away peacefully while she slept in her home on April 23, 2018. Born in Halifax, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Dorothy (Mcoul) Johns.
It would be a rare sight to see Arlene and John seperated. They enjoyed spending time together. Arlene was the life of the flea market, and there wasn't a flea market that she missed. Her personal nature was so pleasant that people would always stop by and buy from her just to talk. She also had a passion for yard sales and antique shows. Most of all, Arlene was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and she loved her granddaughter, Jessica so much.
Arlene is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, John of Port Williams; sons Michael (Jennifer) of New Minas; Jeffrey (Cathy) of Kentville.
Besides her parents, Arlene was predeceased by sister Glenda.
It was Arlene's request to not have a service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Nova Scotia Heart & Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society or charity of one's choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr. (902-679-2822).
