Obituary of William John Amero

William John Amero, 65 of Plympton passed away April 4, 2018. Born in Digby, he was the son of John and Melba (Gosson) Amero.
Billy was a friend to all and it was reflected in how much he loved to help others. He throughly enjoyed being outdoors either walking his dog, hunting or puttering around in his shop. Billy was also known to be able to fix anything, people nicknamed him "Billy Gadget". He ran his own Saw Mill, making fish boxes for 25 years. For the last ten years, he built beautiful log cabins.
He is survived by his loving wife Lorelei Dawn (Comeau) Amero; son Jason Amero of Digby; daughter Nicole (Harry) Brittain of Fort St. John, BC; brothers Stephen of Plympton; Michael Amero of Plympton; sister Bonnie (Douglas) Smith of Digby; grandchildren Tyler Amero, Jenna Prime, Amber Prime and Emily Amero; great grandchildren Casey Johnson; and large extended family of nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his father John Jerome and brother Alan.
A Burial will take place at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Bloomfield Methodist Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr. (902-679-2822).
