Obituary of Gardner Gerard Corkum

GARDNER GERARD CORKUM, 90 of Bridgewater died peacefully 20 March 2018 in Queens General Hospital, Liverpool. Son of the late Russell and Effie Corkum, he worked as a carpenter with his father's contracting business, delivered Rural Mail and worked for Irving Oil until his retirement. He was a member of Bridgewater Baptist Church, former Deacon, and a retired member of the Bridgewater Fire Department. He is survived by his wife Pearl (Walls); sons Byron (Sandy); Barry (Wendy); Hal (Kathy); grandchildren Jeffery (Michelle); Patrick (Kelsi); Lindsay (Mike); Tiffany (Ryan); Cody (Tiffany Dawn) and great grandchildren Dylan; Maddox; Stokli; Athen; Nevaeh; Spencer; Cohen; Quinn; nieces and nephews and family friend Helen Sarty. He was predeceased by his parents, brothers Vincent and Robert (Berley) and sister Ginny (Wick). Arrangements through Serenity Funeral Homes. Family graveside service at a later date to be arranged.
