Hendrik Charles Sabean of Weymouth North passed away suddenly, March 7, 2018. He was the son of Arnold Clifford and Stientje Blaauw Sabean.
He was retired from HMCS Dockyard after 33 years of service. He was a die hard Habs fan, never missed a game. He enjoyed his gardening, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren, whom will miss him dearly.
He is survived by his daughters Michelle Sabean of Tantallon; Amanda Sabean (Mark Bevis) of Mount Uniacke; grandchildren Angelina and Anthony Bevis and Reese Carey; sisters Stella Cowland (UK); Maria Slater, Windsor Forks; brothers Eben (Cathy) and Roy (Teresa) of Plympton; close friends Carl and Mary of Havelock; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers Peter, Arnold Jr, Kenny, and his partner Anne Thomas.
Cremation has taken place and a family service will be at a later date. No flowers please. Memorial donations may be made to the Jump Starts for Kids in Hendrik's memory. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr. (902-679-2822).
