Obituary of Sandra Gloria Bennett

Sandra Gloria Theresa Bennett, 65 of Burlington, NS passed away on December 20, 2017 in her home. Born on the 30th of May 1952, she was the daughter of Ronald "Roy" and Kay (Barrett) McCormick. Sandra had many loves in her life. She adored her family and took such pride in being the wife and mother. And if anyone seemed to be a little to close to Sandra, her second love of her life would be on guard, her ever loving small dog. Although, Sandra was an avid bird watcher. This was something she preferred to do on land, as she absolutely did not like the water or the boat that her husband Gary owned. Sandra is survived by her loving husband Gary Bennett of Burlington; son Timothy (Christine) Bennett of Coldbrook; grandchildren Jayelle Bennett of Kentville; Katie Bennett of Kentville; Christopher Bennett of Coldbrook; Kaylee Bennett of Coldbrook; brothers Lee of Factory Dale; Ronald of Dartmouth; Randy of Windermere; Darrell (Crystal) of Cambridge; sisters Doloras (Murray) of Windsor; Carolyn (Joe) Dominey of Coldbrook; Ellen (Raymond) Comeau of Church Point; Irene "Tess" (Leonard) Lohnes of Black Rock; Darlene (Arnie) Brown of Aylesford; Wanda (Garnet) Wentzell of Enfield; Karen (Scott) Lloyd of Coldbrook; and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her father Roy McCormick of Welford; brothers Danny McCormick of Truro; Brian McCormick of Prince Edward Island and Roy McCormick of Dartmouth. A visitation will take place on December 27, 2017 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm with a Funeral Service to follow at 2:00 pm in the Berwick Funeral Chapel. Family Flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the Victorian Order of Nurses, Kings County Division.
