Obituary of Watson Crelman Schofield

Watson Schofield, 85 of Waterville passed away peacefully on October 20, 2017 in the Valley Regional Hospital. Born in Boston, MA, USA, he was the son of the late Grant and Annie (Dykens) Schofield. Watson was a sincere and gentle person, who worked as a labourer most of his life, holding employment with MW Graves for eighteen years and Berwick Bakery for twenty-three years. He had a love for the Aerial Shows and enjoyed watching with family. He also had a passion for a great fishing trip, coming back with his catch or a good story. He is survived by his children Jane (Eric); Marilyn (Jimmy) and Brian (Diana) all of Waterville; grandchildren Wayne of Edmonton; Tayna of Waterville; Brian Jr. of Waterville; Chris of Kentville; Stephanie of Waterville; Andrew of British Columbia and Amanda of Waterville; nine great grandchildren; brother Eugene. Watson was predeceased by his wife Frances (Bennett); daughter Debbie; brothers Grant Jr., Murray and a brother in infancy; sisters Barbara and Joanne. A Funeral Service will be held on October 27, 2017 at 2:00pm in the Berwick Funeral Chapel. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
