Obituary of Audrey Viona Bligh

Audrey Bligh (nee. Swindell) of Berwick passed away on September 25, 2017 in the Valley Regional Hospital. Audrey was a member of the Berwick Baptist Church. She was employed for many years at Dakin's Store in Berwick and at Lloyd's Irving Service Station, Berwick as a bookkeeper. She is survived by sister Muriel (Nelson) Douglas of Bridgewater; brother-in-law David Misner of Kentville; cousin Ruth Nichols of Berwick; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great great nieces and nephews and many friends. Audrey is predeceased by her husband Tom Bligh; parents Clifford and Genevieve Swindell brothers Lawrence and Lloyd; sister Eleanor Misner; sister-in-law Jean (Lloyd) Swindell; brother-in-law Nelson Douglas and niece Karen Douglas. Thanks to all who visited, with special thanks to brother-in-law Graham Bligh. The family would also like to thank the nurses at the VRH Surgical Unit and Dr. Lori Burgess. A Graveside Service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Valley Hospice or Palliative Care, VRH. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Berwick Funeral Chapel, 192 Commercial Street Berwick (902-538-9900).
