It is with deepest sympathy we announce the passing of Stefan Hankovsky in the Valley Regional Hospital on August 15, 2017 of natural causes.
Stefan was born November 9, 1925 in Hungary, and immigrated to Canada in 1953. He had two daughters Elizabeth and Suzanna with his first wife Alice.
He dedicated his life as a Jehovah's Witness at the International Convention in New York City in 1958.
Stefan remarried Ruby Young in 1977 in Newfoundland.
He is survived by his daughters Suzanna (Ron) Hiens; Barbara (Jack) Childs; Carol (Colin) Shimwell; Maxine; Brenda; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held on August 19, 2017 at 2:00 pm in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 2 Baden Powell Drive, Kentville. There will be time for refreshments after the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Watch Tower or Track Society. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr. (902-679-2822).
