How sad I am to read of Shirley's death. I first met Shirley in 1985 when an international convention for Jehovah's Witnesses was held in Montreal. Shirley, myself and two other friends shared a hotel room. Shirley was so much fun. One of my favorite memories of her was the morning we were leaving the room for the convention. She looked great. As we were about to get on the elevator I looked down....Shirley had on her fuzzy pink slippers! She was a dear friend. My hope is that the memories you have of your mom and grandmother will bring you comfort in the time ahead.
