Carole Marie Mahoney, 72 of South Rawdon passed away on July 26, 2017 in the Hants Community Hospital. Born in Halifax, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Velma (Burgess) Jenkins.
Carole will be sadly missed by her husband and best friend of 57 years, James "Jim" along with their faithful companion "Harley". She is also survived by her brothers Eric of Halifax; Dennis (Cathy) of Halifax; Kevin (Pam) of Saint John, NB; sisters Barbara (Bert) Lawrence of Wellington; Jacquelin Barrett of Lakeside; Arlene (Ronnie) Collie of Halifax; Sherree (John MacDonald) Jenkins of Dartmouth; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brothers Clyde; Jerry; Brian; Barry; Ronnie and infant sister Karen.
Jim would like to thank the Wish Givers of Mount Uniacke, Palliative Care and VON of East Hants.
Funeral Mass will be held on August 4, 2017 at 11:00 am in the Saint Mother Teresa of Kolkata Roman Catholic Church, 6032 Normandy Drive Halifax, NS. Family Flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or charity of your choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Drive, Coldbrook (902-679-2822).
