Obituary of Robert Jack Cole

Rob passed away in the comfort of his home on July 22, 2017 at the age of 52. Born in Portage La Prairie, Man., he was a son to Hilda (Ritchie) and Bob Cole.
He will be dearly missed by his parents; wife Stephanie Nixon-Cole; son Alex; daughter Meghan; stepchildren Cam Burbridge and Marcie Nixon; siblings Kalvin, Shawna Kunysz (Cole), Lee and his much-loved golden retriever, Avery.
Rob was an avid sports fan and spent time fishing, golfing, playing baseball and hockey. Those that knew him were well aware of his Habs obsession. Rob was the manager at Burger King on Tacoma Drive for 25 years and left to follow his dream of opening a restaurant with his wife, Stephanie. Together they ran Coles Neighbourhood in Cole Harbour until its sale in 2015.
A Funeral Service will be held on July 29, 2017 at 11:00 am in the Woodlawn United Church, 54 Woodlawn Road, Dartmouth. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Mesothelioma Foundation or Woodlawn United Church. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr. (902-679-2822).
