Rosemary Agnus (McKay) McCormick, 53 of Lake Echo passed away suddenly at home on July 12, 2017. Born in Halifax on September 3, 1963, she was the daughter of the late William and Mary (Sampson) McKay.
Rosemary worked for several years in the food service industry, but dedicated most of her time to her children.
Rosemary will be sadly missed by her husband Leigh, Son Dakota; daughter Hayley Robyn; and son-in-law Chad Boutilier; brothers Rick McKay - Ontario, Ron McKay (Lisa) – Ontario; brother-in-Law Desi McCormick (Jessica) Cold Lake AB; several nieces and nephews; father-in-Law Lionel (Lucie) - Lake Echo; mother-in-Law Peggy Clarke (Melvin) - Chester Grant and many friends and family.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday July 20, 2017 at 10:00 am in the St. Clements Church, 16 Gaston Rd, Dartmouth with reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr. (902-679-2822).
