Thomas "Tom" Edward Payne, 75 of Windsor passed away on June 28, 2017 in the Hants Community Hospital. Born on October 18, 1941, he was the son of the late Ward and Marion (Wathen) Payne.
Tom loved walking around Windsor enjoying life in the country and stoping in at the Windsor Legion. He enjoyed taking day trips around the Valley with his daughter and granddaughter and sharing the places he knew to get the best deals on fruits and vegetables.
Tom is survived by his son Stephan Payne of Burnaby, BC; daughter Crystal (Stephen) McGraw of Middle Sackville; sister Bette Payne-Withers of Napanee, ON; granddaughter Hailey and close friend Leola Riley of Windsor.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on July 15, 2017 from 1 - 3 in the Windsor Legion, 35 Empire Lane. Family Flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr. (902-679-2822).
