Marjorie Ida Ward, 83 of Canning passed away on Wednesday June 21, 2017 in the Grand View Manor. Born in Middleton, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Laura Smith.
She loved her family to no fault and enjoyed being a stay-at-home mom. Gardening and music was such a passion for Marjorie and she was very blessed to share these passions with her late husband Leo.
Marjorie is survived by her son Rodger (Jeanie) Ward of Greenwood; daughters Darlene (David) Rafuse of Cambridge; Carolyn (Curtis) Freeman of Greenwood; and youngest daughter Sandra Ward of Cookville; eight grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband of over fifty years, Leo Watson Ward.
A Graveside Service will be held on June 27, 2017 at 11:00 am in the Lakeview Cemetery. Family Flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr. (902-679-2822).
