Obituary of Diane Helen Mary Wentzell

Diane Helen Mary Wentzell (VanTassell) passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on June 6, 2017 in the Valley Regional Hospital. Born in Digby, she was the daughter of the late Calvin and Margaret VanTassell. Diane loved gardening, was a beautiful knitter and she absolutely loved spending time with her beloved family. She is survived by her loving children Shelly Wentzell (Chris Goucher) of Kingston; Kelly (Heather) Wentzell of Waterville; her loving and adored grandchildren Nicole (Ryan) Pearl of Kentville; Makencee Trueman (Chris Keating) of Lower Sackville; Kellcee Wentzell of Waterville; Jakkob Wentzell of Waterville; brothers James of Banff, AB; Mason of Digby; Skip of Digby; Douglas of Scskatchewan; sister Joan of Calgary, AB and many nieces and nephews who loved her. Diane was predeceased by her sisters Addie and Evelyn; brother David. There will be a private service for family only held in the Waterville Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr. (902-679-2822).
