Deeply Sorry to hear of Bud's passing. My deep and sincere condolences to Betty and the family.
Bud and I go way back to Quinpool Road School in Halifax when we were both about 12. We started to chum together and spent many happy boyhood hours on our bikes having adventures around Halifax. As I read Bud's Obituary a flood of memories came back. The Ninos house on Shirley St.and the garage in the yard where Bud and I put the motor back in the London taxi he had bought (his first car) . To hoist the motor in we used a couple clothesline pulleys and rope all fastened to the rafters of the garage. The problems we had timing the magneto and after we got it mobile how Bud decided to paint it orange!! Mr. Ninos' restaurant on Gottigen St.,where we always seemed to end up after a movie or dance where Mr. Ninos would serve us hot roast beef sandwiches. The trip around the Cabot Trail in the Pontiac with the broken spring and how we used green tree boughs lashed to the spring to allow it to function as a spring. Just some of the thoughts that I treasure of many happy, good and carefree times we spent together, like brothers!

Dearest Betty, Donnie and Dino....so, so very sorry to hear of Bud's passing. We have not seen you or Bud for a few years. I cant even imagine Bud being 84 years old....he was such a strong and vibrant man, that always made us laugh with his CRAZY stories, when he came down the street to the store.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this very difficult time in your life.
He will be missed, and we all hope to go to the memorial service in April.
Hugs to you, Betty
