RONALD EUGENE AALDERS, 80 of Coldbrook passed away peacefully on Tues. Nov 1st 2016 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Son of the late Clayton and Mae (Cross) Aalders.
Ron was retired from Perry Rand Ltd. after 23 years. He continued to be active and repaired and sold lawn mowers and snow blowers as a hobby. Ron enjoyed helping others, vegetable gardening, cutting his own firewood, and spending time with others sharing his life experiences.
Ron is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Ruth (Veinotte); his cherished son Ashley (Tara) of Alberta; sister Sybil (Don); special brothers in law Hartley (Myrna); Wade (Lori); Dale (Kaye) and sister in law Geneva (John); several nieces and nephews; special friends and neighbors.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by brother, Carl.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Lindsay Annapolis Valley Funeral Home & Chapels, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr (902-679-2822). No visitation by request. A Graveside Service will be held on November 5, 2016 at 11:00 am in the Elm Grove Cemetery, Steam Mill. Memorial donations may be made to the a Charity of Your Choice.
