Florence Matilda Pye of New Ross, NS passed away September 29, 2016 in the Valley Regional Hospital. Born in Hortonville, NS on June 21, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Charles Pynch and Lillian Hiltz.
She is survived by her children Shirley of New Ross; Betty (LeRoy) of New Ross; Doris (Melvin) of New Minas; Faye (Rodney) of South Alton; Raymond of Springfield; Theodore of New Ross; Steven (Dale) of Berwick; 11 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 2 step grandchildren; 4 step great grandchildren; 2 step great great grandchildren and step brother Irving Pynch.
Florence was predeceased by her parents, husband Webster, son Laurie, son in law Dave and daughter in law Faye.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Lindsay Annapolis Valley Funeral Home & Chapels, New Ross Chapel, 4935 Hwy 12 New Ross (902-689-2961). A Funeral Service will be held on October 6, 2016 at 2:00 pm in the New Ross Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the New Ross Volunteer Fire Dept.
