Obituary of Dorothy Beatrice Pelley

Dorothy Beatrice Pelley, 89 of Kentville, NS passed away September 9, 2016 in Shannex Orchard Court. Born on July 1, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Effie (Schunamon) Dodge. Dorothy lived a long life, loved by her family and loved her family. She had a sunny personality and was quite passionate about her hobbies, knitting, sewing, crafts, cooking and not to mention that she was an avid reader as well. Dorothy work for Leopold's Dry Cleaners before she moved to Trenton, NS. There she obtained employment with Canadian Tire before retiring. She is survived by brother Basil (Jean); nephew Martin (Mimi); niece Marlene (Jeff) and many loving family and friends. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Ted, her parents, brother Carl and nephew Darrell Dodge. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Lindsay Annapolis Valley Funeral Home & Chapels, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr (902-679-2822). By request there will be no Funeral Service. Memorial donations may be made to the Nova Scotia SPCA or Shannex Orchard Court Palliative Care Program.
