Barbara "Joan" Hiltz, 69 of New Ross, passed away on August 24, 2016 in the South Shore Reginal Hospital. She was the daughter of Irvin and Laura Daniels.
Joan enjoyed being a member of Lunenburg County Off Road Racing and the Walkin' Roadside Cleaners.
She leaves to mourn her husband "Bob"; daughter Angela (Scott) Melvin; sons Brian (Barbara) and Bruce (Melissa); grandchildren Trent, Leah, Haley, Mallorie, Brooke and Racheal; great-grandchild Lyra; brothers Basil, Gordon, George and Allister; sisters Judy, Donna and Doris; and her grand doggies Stella and Ty.
Joan was predeceased by her parents and brothers Ernest and Oscar.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Lindsay Annapolis Valley Funeral Home & Chapels, New Ross Chapel, 4935 Hwy 12 New Ross (902-689-2961). A Celebration of Joan's Life will be held on August 28, 2016 at 3:30 pm in the Forties Community Centre. Family Flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the New Ross Volunteer Fire Dept or Charity of One's Choice.
