Jennie May (Higgins) Metzler, 96 of Greenwich passed away on August 11, 2016 in the Valley Regional Hospital in Kentville, NS. She was the daughter of Clarence and Annie (Reid) Higgins, born on July 12, 1920.
She was survived by Wayne and Morine of Greenwich, Ann of Greenwich, Simon and Holly of Greenwich, four grandchildren: Evan, Sasha, Haley, and Tanner, brother Carl.
Jennie was predeceased by her husband Robert in 2007 and sister Nellie.
A Special Thank You to the nurses and doctors of Medical "B" at the Valley Regional Hospital.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Lindsay Annapolis Valley Funeral Home & Chapels, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr (902-679-2822). Cremation has already taken place. A Graveside Service, for family only, will be held on August 16, 2016 at 11:00 am in the Hillaton Cemetery, Saxon Street, Canning, NS. Family Flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
