Joanne and I became best friends when we were still in diapers. We went through life's adventures together as kids, teenagers and young adults. We had so much fun.

I would not and could not have picked a better friend. Although life and miles came between us for several years, I always considered her my best friend.

After several years and Facebook we reunited again. I got to know the adult Joanna Mogensen and what an amazing person she turned out to be. She was so talented and full of life. She never changed a bit. It was like we never lost years at all.

I want to send my condolences to her family and friends. Especially to her children who I know she loved very much.

Joanna you will always be in my heart and thank you for being my life long best friend. I will miss you dearly and our hours of telephone conversations. God Bless.

Rest in Peace my dear aunt. You will never be forgotten. I just wish we had more time together. Love you forever.
