Obituary of Laurie "Ben" Hardacker
Please share a memory of Laurie to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Laurie "Ben" Hardacker, 25, of Aylesford, NS passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2016.
Ben passed away suddenly and is missed every second of every day. He was a caring, courteous, respectful young man that lived life on the edge because anything else was taking up too much space! He worked hard, played hard and partied hard.
Thoroughly enjoyed being an electrician, he studied hard and enjoyed dazzling his father with his electrical knowledge and skills. Ben was his father's shadow, learning all he could from him but was emerging as his own man.
He loved "hanging out" in the barn, tearing things apart and building them back up. Snowmobiling, hockey, fishing, off-roading and pretty much anything daring and exciting were some of his loves.
Ben had many friends and loved them all dearly, he stuck up for them and wouldn't hesitate to defend them, if he could, he would be saying right now, "Pluck that!!"
He is survived by his father and step-mother Laurie and Karen (Hebb) Hardacker, mother Kristen Lynn MacDonald and sister Megan Hardacker.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Coldbrook Funeral Home & Chapels, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Road (902-679-2822. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Glooscap District Arena, Timbits Hockey and SPCA Kings County Branch.
