Douglas Frederick, Rogers - 87, Wolfville, son of Ruth A. Rogers born May 11, 1928, passed away November 29, 2015 in Valley Regional Hospital. He is sadly missed but deeply loved by his wife Nina (Schofield) Rogers of Wolfville, son Frederick (Rosalie) Rogers of Port Williams and grandchildren; Natasha Rogers and Aaron Rogers of Kentville along with 3 great grandchildren. Douglas was predeceased by his Mother Ruth, brother Charles and sister Muriel. Doug worked for many years at Acadia Dairy of Wolfville and Minas Basin Pulp and Power in Hantsport. Doug was the last remaining member of his family. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Valley Regional Hospital in Kentville. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Lindsay Annapolis Valley Funeral Home and Chapels. (Wolfville Funeral Chapel 902-542-4656). The family would like to thank the staff at the Valley Regional Hospital for their excellent care and support with Douglas during his illness.
