FOSTER, Harvey Blake, 65, Burlington, passed away at home on November 15, 2015. Born in Berwick on February 7, 1950, he was the son of the late Perley and Elsie (Bishop) Foster. Blake at the age of 19 went to Ontario to seek employment where he began a life long career in jewelry making working his way up to plant manager for Nemo Briar Manufacturing Company who designed and made costume jewelry for Michele Lynn and Sarah Coventry. He returned to Nova Scotia in 1992 where he was self-employed running his business under the name of “Blake’s Creations” making jewelry, lapel pins, metals for varies athletic events. Blake enjoyed fishing, camping and cooking. He is survived by his wife and best friend, Sharon (King), Burlington, daughter, Tawny, stepson Corey Tippett, grandchildren, Aydan and Kenzie, all of Ontario, brothers, Kip (Carol) of New Minas, Jud (Mary), Dave (Charlene) and sister JoAnne (Corey) Scotney, all of Aylesford. He was predeceased by his son Ryan and grandson, Dalton. Family Flowers only. Donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Arrangements have been intrusted to Serenity Lindsay Annapolis Valley Funeral Home and Chapels. Visitation: Friday November 20, 7:00-9:00 pm at the Berwick Funeral Chapel.
