Life Legacy
CALDWELL, Arthur, L. 94, Canning passed away on October 28, 2015 at the Valley Regional Hospital. Born on December 8, 1920 he was a son to Gordon and Olive (Bennett) Caldwell. Arthur worked most of his life on the family farm. Surviving is his wife Hazel (Thorpe); sons, Henry, David, Howard; daughters, Anne and Jeanne; seven grandchildren, Eric, Douglas, Matthew, Jeffrey, Melisa, Jasmine, Sarah; great-grandchildren Keira Doesburg, Dawson Unrau. Arthur is also survived by two adopted brothers; Reginald Caldwell (Massachusetts), and Beverly Caldwell (Centreville. Arthur was an only son and the last remaining member of his immediate family. A Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 5, 2015 from 7:00-9:00p.m. in the Serenity Lindsay Annapolis Valley Funeral Home, Wolfville Funeral Chapel, where a Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 6 at 1:00p.m. Rev. Bruce Patstone officiating. Reception to follow, burial in the Arlington Cemetery. Family flowers only by request. Donations in Arthur's memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Lindsay Annapolis Valley Funeral Home, Wolfville Funeral Chapel, 902-542-4656.
