Lutz, George Stillman - 81, Waterville, passed away at the Valley Regional Hospital in Kentville. Born in Lake Paul, Kings Co. on June 29, 1934, he was the son of the late Earland and Esther (Joudrey) Lutz. George embarked on a career as a gentleman farmer, working for his brother-in-law Harold Rafuse in Waterville. His greatest pleasure in life was hunting in the fall with his buddies. He would always regale his friends and family with tales of the big one that got away. Left with fond and loving memories are his daughters, Betty Benjamin, Nictaux; Brenda Weaver, Ontario; sons, Richard (Tammy) Lutz, Kentville; David Lutz, Greenwood; and Alan Lutz, Aylesford; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; sisters, Ruth (Fred) Kay, British Columbia; Hilda (Jack) Mann, Ontario.; Shirley (Daley) Boutilier, Boutiliers Point; brothers, Lewis Lutz; Stanley (Sheena) Lutz; Emerson (Charlene) Lutz; Phillip (Millie) Lutz; Russell (Joan) Lutz all of Ontario. George was predeceased by his sisters, Lillian and Betty in infancy, Barbara, Lena, Ina and brother, Gordon. In keeping with Georges wishes cremation has taken place. A Graveside Service will be held at the Morristown Cemetery Saturday November 14, 2015 2:00pm. In memory of George, donations made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by his family.
