Obituary For the late Hilton Edward Lacey
Date Line - Berwick, Nova Scotia
LACEY HILTON EDWARD - 81 years of Grandview Manor, Berwick passed away Tuesday January 13 at the Valley Regional Hospital Kentville.
Born in Grafton, Kings Co. He was the son of the late Clarence and Naomi (Taylor) Lacey.
He married his loving wife the late Verna Hiltz of 47 years at the age of 19 in Berwick, N.S. And then they settled in the valley where they raised their family. Hilton was an avid woodsman and farmer and loved his team of horses; He would spend a lot time with them and won numerous trophies and ribbons for their efforts in local exibitions. His family brought him great joy and pride.
A member of the draft horse association in his younger years before he retired. He was a quiet and considerate man with a good sense of humor. He loved music and dancing and sharing times with those close to him.
Surviving, his son Phillip (Katherine) Lacey; Bridgewater, N.S. Daughter Paulette (Ronald) Mahar; Black Rock, Kings Co. 7- grandchildren 17- great grand children 1- great - great grandson. A great number Nieces and nephews

Brother Ernest (Nellie) Lacey, Missouri USA.
Besides his parents and loving wife he was predeceased by sister Emma in infancy, sister Marion Lutz and brothers Russell and Carl Lacey.
A memorial service will be held Saturday January 17th at 2pm weather permitting from the Kingdom hall of Jehovah Witness 5431 Hwy #1 Waterville with Mr. Dennis Johnson officiating with internment in the Morsetown Cemetery at a later date.
No visitation and Family flowers only by request, Donations in memory may be made to the Grandview Manor or Alzheimer?¢s Society of Nova Scotia or to the charity of ones Choice.
