MULLEN, Lucille "Lucy" Elizabeth (Glover) 61, Bear River, passed away peacefully with her family by her side, at home, early Friday morning, August 28th, 2015. Born in Santa Barbara, California, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Matthews and Sarah Elizabeth Glover, Bear River. Lucy was an experienced bookbinder and printer, and learned how to be a psychologist tending bar. She always had a listening ear and was not shy in expressing her feelings and opinions. Moving to Nova Scotia in 1998, she married Tom Mullen of Havelock in 2000 and they made their home in Bear River. She was a member of the Bear River Historical Society and had a passionate love of genealogy, music, dance and reading. Lucy is survived by her husband Tom, her son, Michael Summers (Santa Barbara, California); Christopher Hedley (USA); Michael (Courtney) Hedley (USA); daughter Lisa (John) Hedley-Davis; (Idaho, USA); brother Charles (Sharon) Glover (Halifax, NS), 6 grandchildren and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins. Cremation has taken place and there will be a family service on Saturday, September 5, 2015.
