FOX, Glenn Fraser, age 86, passed away August 21, 2015, at home with his wife by his side, following a brief time diagnosed with Cancer. Born in Halifax on September 14, 1928 he was a son to the late George C. and Stella (Josey) Fox. Glenn attended Chebucto Road and Queen Elizabeth High Schools. He worked at the Federal Government, Department of Consumer Affairs for over 34 years; as well as the Jubilee Boat Club for many years. He was a long-time member, steward and trustee of St. John's United Church, Windsor Street. Glenn is survived by wife Lois Marie (Baldwin), his children Gary R. (Sylvia Bourn), Halifax and Cynthia Louise (Bedford); as well as his beloved Fox grandchildren, of whom he was very proud; Robert Glenn-Arthur (Paula), Fall River; Gillian Elizabeth (Brandon Oickle), Bridgewater; Henry Gary, Calgary; also nieces, nephews and cousins. He will be especially missed by his 'granddogs' Jinks and Javal. Predeceased by his sister Muriel Dutchak (Walter, deceased); his brothers Earl Lloyd (Edith, deceased); Lloyd Maxwell (WWII) and his late former daughter-in-law Carmel Miller. Cremation has taken place and a family service will be held at a later date. Memorial donation in his name would be appreciated to St. John's United Church, 6233 Willow Street, Halifax, NS B3L 1P1; during the last few weeks, there were many memories and stories of Church members and functions. Lovingly remembered and sadly missed.
