Life Legacy
GUNN, Kevin James "Dada/Bub", 63, Deep Brook, passed away on June 29,2015 peacefully and pain-free at home surrounded by love with Heather, Brycen and Tamara by his side. Kevin will be lovingly remembered by his friends and cherished family members for his talents as a Finish carpenter and a singer,his sense of humor,intelligent conversations, warm hugs and compassionate heart . He was a lover of animals and will be greatly missed by his cats and dog. Kevin's family was his whole world and he showed it in his devotion to them and their happiness. He is survived by his wife and best friend, Heather, daughter Tamara Deraspe, Deep Brook; son Timothy ( Dawn), Digby; Grandchildren Brycen, Melanie, Allyson, Ryan, Avery and Carter. Brothers Brian (Stella) and Michael ( Michelle) Upper Clements; Sisters; Carol-Anne Smith, Deep Brook; Deborah(Fernando)Timpano, Ontario; Half-brother Billy Fisher and Half-sister Bettina(Ken) Knopp both of BC as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Frank Gunn and Theresa Howes; his mother-in-law Phyllis Mayotte and his stepsister Jeannette Fisher.
Kevin's legacy and soul remain in the house he built with his own two hands and we feel his presence there every day.
Donations in memory of Kevin may be made to the Carey Me Fund c/o Annapolis Valley Regional Hospital Foundation. As requested cremation has taken place. A Mass will be held Monday July 6th at 11 am at the St Louis Catholic Church, Annapolis Royal. Reception to follow at Annapolis Basin Conference Centre 761 Broadway Ave, Cornwallis. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date . Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Lindsay Annapolis Valley Funeral Home (902) 679-2822.
