Obituary of Ruth Russell

RUSSELL, Ruth Cecilia—75, New Ross, passed away on June 29, 2015 surrounded by love with her family by her side. Born in Great Village, Nova Scotia she was the daughter of Joseph and Mary (Brown) Arsenault. Ruth is survived by her children Jim (Penny) Arsenault, Ontario; Darren (Charlotte) Russell, Chester Grant; Wayne (Shelley) Russell, Ontario; Daughters Darlene (Nigel) Levy, New Ross; Wendy (Jeff) Harvey, New Ross, Linda (Mike) Hatt, New Ross; Brothers; Curtis (Jean), New York State; Eldon (Linda), Ontario; Walter (Ruth), Truro; Howard (Betty), Lower Sackville, Sisters; Carolyn Dent, Ontario; Ethel (George) Hawkins, Ontario; Mary (Howie) Webb, BC. Along with 18 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 49 years; Maynard Joseph Russell; Sister Hope Noel. Ruth was a member of the Golden Age Club and St Patrick's Catholic Church. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. A truly giving and beautiful person who will be missed greatly. A visitation will take place Thursday, July 2nd from 7pm—9pm at Serenity Lindsay Funeral Chapel 4935 Hwy 12 New Ross. Family prayers at 6pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at 1:30 pm Friday July 3rd at St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, New Ross with Father Craig Christenson as the celebrant. Donations in Ruth's memory may be made to New Ross Volunteer Fire Department or to St Patrick's Catholic Church.
