"Cousin" Macpherson Eaton always made his own way in a strong willed family. When we discussed subjects from Cyrus Eaton's activities to the day Soviet Cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin came to Pugwash, Mac unfailingly remembered all detains about the automobiles, in addition to other features. He was a man whose view of the world was from the ground up. To my cousins Peter and Mary Eaton, happy wishes in treasuring the good memories of Mac and Cynthia.
As ever,

Please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of a great man - your father and friend, Reverend MacPherson Eaton. It was my great honour to have known him and his lovely wife Cynthia. Both were very supportive during my terms as Moderator of the African United Baptist Association of Nova Scotia. My last remembrances of Reverend & Mrs. Eaton was when my late husband, Deacon Matthew & I met them at Tim Hortons to share some special time. In my eyes, your father will be remembered as a hard working, honest and respectable man and a great contributer to the work of Kingdom Building....he persevered because he saw Him who is invisible".
