Simon passed away at the Evergren Home for Special Care, Kentville on February 11, 2015. Born on January 18, 1943 he was a son of the late Alexander and Lena Downey of North Preston. He is survived by sister Adeline Fraser (North Preston); and many nieces and nephews. Simon was predeceased by sisters Rachel Smith and Ada Smith; brothers Paul, Joseph, Alexander Jr., Wallace, Alfred, Arthur and twins at infancy. A graveside service will be held at a later date in Morristown.
