Stevens, Margaret Peggy Ann 75, of Kentville, passed away Sunday November 30th, 2014 at Orchard Court Shannex, Kentville. Born in Wolfville, she was a daughter of the late William and Dorothy Stevens. Peggy worked as a Custodian for Acadia University. She enjoyed gardening, loved listening to country western music and dancing. She is survived by her sons, Peter (Rachel), Gary, Wayne, all of Kentville; brothers, Dave, Wallbrook Mountain, Keith, Wolfville, Stanley, Bridgewater; sisters, Helen (Aubrey) Spencer, Kentville, Jean (Ivan) Croft, Canning, Barbara (Dave) McDermott, Aylesford; three grandchildren, one great grandchild; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Harold Ted and Wade; sister, Doris Stevens. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday December 4th at Serenity Lindsay Annapolis Valley Funeral Home, Wolfville Chapel, 568 Main St., Wolfville (902-542-4656). Chaplain Jim Norton officiating. Interment will follow in Willow Bank Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
