David and Carol, my condolences on the passing of your mother. I had missed her obituary and have just seen that the memorial service was today. Sorry not to have attended. Julian and I have just had a conversation about her -he remembers her well from his childhood. I was so grateful for her friendship when we moved to Wolfville her kindness, smile and sense of humour, how pleased she was that we made it to your wedding, Carol, before going into labour with Eleanor that night, 43 years ago! She became a friend to my mother too. They shared some laughter together on her visits and kept in touch. I see you are in Hfx now too Carol. I live in Terence Bay now with my husband. Would love to chat sometime. I'm sure you have great memories of your Mom, and Dad, which you will always treasure. Your Mom had a long stay in nursing home. May she rest in peace, and may the love of God give you peace.
