Obituary of Boyd Meisner

Meisner, Boyd Elwood age 82 years of Berwick, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on November 6, 2014. Born in Lakeville on March 20, 1932; he was a son of the late Joe and Arrena (Stokes) Meisner.
Left with many fond and loving memories are his wife of 57 years, Barbara; children Brian (Allison) of Kingston, Erwin (Debbie) of Ross Corner; Debbie Vandenhof (Mike) of New Minas, Derek (Christine) of Cambridge, Kevin (Cindy) of Huntington Point, Matthew (Bertha) of St. Catharines, ON and Joe (Tiffany) of St. Catharines, ON. Boyd also leaves behind his cherished and adored 17 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; special niece Shirley Keddy and many other nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his brothers Clifford, Kenneth, Murray; sisters Gertrude and Grace.
Boyd was very involved in the Black Rock Community. He was a member, past trustee and usher of the Black Rock Baptist Church and also a member of the East Black Rock Cemetery Committee.
In keeping with his wishes cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the Serenity Lindsay Annapolis Valley Funeral Home, Berwick Chapel on Sunday, November 9, 2014 from 3-5pm. Memorial service will be held on Monday, November 10, 2014 at 2pm from the Black Rock Baptist Church with Rev. Debbie Stevens officiating and Pastor Christina Bigelow assisting.
Family flowers only please. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Boyd made to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by his family.
