Moore, Anne Lorraine of Kingsport. It is with heavy hearts the family announce Annes passing at the Valley Regional Hospital on November 3, 2014 at the age of 79 years.
Born in Canning on February 22, 1935; she was a daughter of the late Don and Myrtle (Hilton) Crosby.
Anne was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She was a member of the Kingsport Hill Toppers and the Emmanuel United Church. Anne loved to read, crochet and complete the weekly lexicon and word find puzzles.
Above all her passion was for her family; Anne enjoyed and cherished all the times that were spent together and loved to cook for her family. She will be truly missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known her.
Left with fond and loving memories are her husband Ainslie; son Terry (Muriel) of Cambridge; daughters Cindy Johnstone (Willie) of Kentville and Wendy Moore of New Minas; brother Bernard of B.C and sister in law Jeanette Crosby of France. Also leaving to mourn are her treasured grandchildren Megan (Steve), Caitlin (Kyle), Amie (Jason) and Mandy; great grandchildren Juliet, Riley, Noah, Mya and Callie; special niece Karen Cook (David) and their son Erik; also by several other nieces and nephews.
In keeping with Annes wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or funeral service.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Anne made to the Emmanuel United Church would be greatly appreciated by her family.
Special thank you to the doctors and nurses on the Maternal and Childrens Ward at the Valley Regional Hospital for going above and beyond for making her comfortable.
