Life Legacy Eldridge, Judith Ann Marie – 70, of Windsor, passed away Friday October 31st, 2014 at Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born in Windsor, she was the daughter of the late Thurston Sr. and Ella (Flynn) Lunn. Judy was a C.N.A. and was employed at Soldier’s Memorial Hospital, Middleton during the mid 1970’s and then opened her own Seniors Home for Special Care in Berwick until her retirement in 1996. Judy was a lover of classic country and bluegrass music. She was a singer, songwriter and comedienne who performed at many festivals throughout the Maritimes and Maine, U.S.A. Better known as “Uncle Jake”, she also performed at many benefits over the years. Judy is survived by her special companion, James S. Campbell, Green Hill Rd.; sons, James C. MacDonald, Aylesford, Master Corporal Richard (Charlene) MacDonald, Edmonton, A.B., Matthew (Julie) F. Eldridge, Fort St. John, B.C.; daughter, Lucinda MacDonald; extended family, Bonnie (Ed) Poirier, Rose (Lucy) Campbell and Barbara (Mark) Campbell; a number of beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Deborah (Derrick) Williams, Shelburne, Nancy (Hugh Don) McClean, Scotsville, C.B.; brother-in-law, Mike, B.C. Besides her parents, Judy was predeceased by husband, Irvin L. Eldridge; brothers, Thurston Lunn Jr., Curtis Lunn; sister, Lois Simpson and sister, Golda Lunn in infancy. There will be no funeral service. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Serenity Lindsay Annapolis Valley Funeral Home, Coldbrook Chapel (902-679-2822). A celebration of Life will be held at Three Mile Plains Hall on Saturday November 8th from 2-6 p.m. with food and good fellowship. Memorial donations in memory may be made to Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of choice.
