McGladrie, David Jim James 47, of Edmonton, passed away at University Hospital, Edmonton, Tuesday October 14th, 2014. Born in Holberg, B.C. he was the son of Jeannie Roberts and the late James Roberts. Jim is survived by his wife, Dawna; son, Joey; sister, Tracy (Allan) Carmichael; niece, Santina Carmichael; nephew, Damon Roberts. Jim retired from Royal Canadian Electrical Mechanical Engineers Corps with 20+ years of dedicated service. Jims memory will live on in all those whose lives he touched. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Serenity Lindsay Annapolis Valley Funeral Home, Berwick Chapel (902-538-9900). A celebration of Jims life will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday November 6th at the Royal Canadian Legion Hall, 295 Marshall Rd., Middleton. Captain Rory MacDonald officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Middleton. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory may be made to Soldier On Program of Canada www.soldieron.ca or to PTSD Association of Canada www.ptsdassociation.com
