ONeil, Frederick Dean age 81 years of Mountain Lea Lodge in
Bridgetown, passed away peacefully on October 25, 2014.Born on November 19, 1932 in Kentville; he was a son of the late Omer and Bessie (Johnson) ONeil.
For 29 years, Fred made his living working as a painter with Davidson and Sons Painting. He also loved to spend time on the water fishing.
Left with many fond and loving memories are his children Brian of Kentville; Diane Cooper (Richard Acker) of Middleton and Lynn Keddy(Bruce) of New Minas; brother Arthur of ON and sister in law Velma of NB; also by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his beloved wife Mary in 2007; son Dean; brothers George and Hugh; sister Marjorie; sisters in law Doris and Kay.
In keeping with his wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at the Serenity Lindsay Annapolis Valley Funeral Home, Coldbrook on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at 2pm with Rev. Dorothy Huntley officiating. Interment to take place at a later date.
A special thank you to the management and staff of Mountain Lea Lodge for the loving care and support that was given to Fred; you truly were like his extended family.
