McNeil, Wilfred Lloyd (Mac) – age 78 years of Port Williams and formerly of Weymouth, died peacefully on September 18, 2014 at the Valley Regional Hospital after a prolonged illness. Born in Windsor on July 1, 1936; he was the son of the late Ted and Mildred (Smith) McNeil. Left with fond and loving memories are his loving wife of 55 years Sally; children Nancy, Sam (Nancy), Kaye (Andy), Donald, Ellen (Shane); grandchildren Sarah, Shane, Maggie, Hannah, Lauren, Grace, Wyatt, Shayla and Jade. Mac is also survived by his siblings Don (Rosa), Ray (Lorraine), Peter, Eddie (Lois), Liz, Heather (John) and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his son Dennis; daughter Leslie; son-in-law Dwayne; brother Charles; brother-in-law Bligh and sister-in-law Jean. In keeping with his wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2014 at 2pm from the St. John’s Anglican Church, Port Williams with Rev. David Garrett officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mac made to the St. John’s Anglican Church or to the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by his family.
